Put a Song in Your Heart
Choir Director, Scott MacGougan says,

"A big part of being a Christ-follower is doing things together. If you're a follower who likes to sing, then the choir offers a great way to do that. In addition, it's a group that really cares for and supports each other (sort of like an oversized small group). The other bonus is that frequently you'll have little pieces of God music running around in your brain during the week. It's a great way to help keep your heart and mind in tune with the Lord."

What is HCC Choir?

The choir is for singers all across the spectrum of experience. Some can't read music and some are classically trained; some have been choir members for decades and some are brand new this year (or month!).

 

Being in choir means enjoying fun fellowship at Tuesday night rehearsals, with lots of laughter as well as lots of singing. That cameraderie shines through on Sundays -- it's evident that the choir members truly enjoy each other and love serving the Lord and the congregation in leading worship.

 

In early December, the choir presents "A Taste of Christmas," where they not only make beautiful music but also serve dessert and coffee during the intermission. "Taste" is a holiday favorite for the congregation and community, and an excellent, gracious venue for bringing guests to our church for the first time.

Meeting Times

Rehearsals - Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. (to about 8:30 or 9:00 p.m.)

Sundays - 8:00 a.m. to "warm up" and 8:30 service.
