What Is A Geo Group?

Because it is difficult to feel connected in a big church, Harbor Covenant Church has created

Geographical Caring Groups (Geo Groups) which are designed to bring people together. Eight

Geo Groups have been created to help connect people with their neighbors:

• Artondale - Shepherd Jill Branham

• Gig Harbor North - Shepherds Jon & Teri Nichols, Chuck & Nancy Chapman, and Cathie Gates

• Key Peninsula/Kitsap - Shepherds Gerry & Mary Dryer, Joe & Karen Street, Chris & Teresa Johnson

• Kopachuck/Fox Island - Shepherds Ted & Terez Grady, Bill & Bonnie Minick

• Point Fosdick/East Bay - Shepherds Stan & Kari Bonnell, Skip & Barb Williams

• Reid Road/Downtown - Shepherd Sheela Thomas

• Rosedale - Shepherds Dan & Susan Brinkman, Darrel & Karra Lantz

• Tacoma - Shepherds Liz Cooper, Linda Hay

Each Geo Group has a leadership team (shepherds) that is committed to providing regular opportunities for

the members of their Geo Group to play together, serve together and care for one another. It is our hope that

through planned neighborhood gatherings we can provide friendship, care, and support more effectively and

consistently.

Leadership for the Geo Groups is provided by ACF Intern, Mike DeFronzo, plus Lynda DeFronzo, Jill Branham, Chris and Teresa Johnson.
