“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

We believe one of the greatest ways to experience solid Christian growth is by becoming involved in a Life Group. In a large church, it is often difficult to get to know people on a personal level, and Life Groups provide an excellent opportunity to get to know others on a more intimate level where joys, burdens and Christian experiences can be shared. People gather for fellowship and to worship, to study God's Word, to minister to each other, and to work and play together. We also emphasize ministry outreach through each Life Group in order to influence our community through serving. We affect our neighborhoods and work places by serving in practical ways.

God's Word exhorts us to "love one another," to "pray for one another," and to "build up one another." Small groups offer us a better opportunity to fulfill this calling as we form close relationships with each other, pray for one another's needs and ultimately help each other to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

If you would like to be part of a Lifegroup, contact Jill Branham at jbranham@harborcovenant.org.
