Growing In The Word

 

Because dealing with everyday life effectively requires delving into God’s word, we offer opportunities to determine what God is saying to us regarding our roles in the workplace, the community and at home.

 

Monday Morning Bible Study

Each Monday morning, women gather for study and prayer, as they deepen their walk with the Lord. Meeting time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.  On the first Monday of each month they hear a special speaker and have a salad lunch.

Tuesdays Together

A morning filled with laughter, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement in God’s word. Join us as we study God’s word together. Childcare is available. Meeting time: 9:15 – 11:30 a.m. Where: Room 209 Contact: Liz Cooper

 

Precepts Classes

Exciting opportunities for in depth study of the Father’s Word. Various times and topics. For more information, contact HCC office.

Small Group Opportunities

If you are more comfortable in a small group or want to develop the close relationships that occur in that type of setting, the following

opportunities are for you.

 

Craft Group

Bring your project and join the fun and camaraderie to be found with others who share your passion for creativity. This group meets every other Friday. Contact Julie Day.

 

Second Saturday Sisters

Every second Saturday of the month, single women gather for potluck dinner and canasta (no experience necessary). Please join us for an evening of fun, sharing and great food. Contact Carol Cook.

Special Events

Mug n' Muffin

Every other month, we come together to enjoy a morning of friendship and good eats! Bring your mug and we’ll supply the beverage and muffin. Join us in Room 101, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Watch for the next date. (Childcare Provided)

 

Fall Retreat

Our Fall Retreat is an annual event. Plans are still being developed at this time but please check this spot later for more information

 

Women's Christmas Brunch

You are invited to join us for our annual Christmas brunch. Invite family and friends to enjoy beautifully decorated tables, a festive atmosphere, great food (served by our men folk) and great entertainment. Scholarships available.

Mom's Morning Out

Mothers of preschoolers get an opportunity to have a "morning out" while their children receive loving care.

Cost: Quarterly fees When: Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon (w/prior registration)

Our ministry is to reach out in fellowship and love, to nurture women of all ages; helping them grow, serve and share the love of Jesus. Remember, our motto is "you don't have to suck your tummy in!"
