not be defined by our walls but by our compassion for
others. Join us August 30 as we go out into our
community to serve.
Sunday, August 30, 9:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. we will work on a service project around
the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. At 5:00 p.m. we will
gather back at the church to celebrate and share stories
together and, of course, eat! Watch for the sign-ups
on-line. We'll be ready around mid-July to sign up.
Examples of some of
the projects we have lined up: painting and minor remodeling
with
Need-A-Break, pulling out ivy at Grandview Park for
EnviroCorps, assembling SmilePacks for
Children of the Nations,
hosting a pancake breakfast and games with our Lakewood
Kids, and much, much more! There will be something for
seniors, for children and families, for skilled and
unskilled labor - EVERYONE will have an opportunity to serve
and to have their hearts renovated for Christ.
Childcare provided for 0-5 years old in HCC's nursery.
