We're
called to grow in the knowledge of God, living a life worthy of the Lord so that we please him in every way.
(Col. 1:10) There's so much to growing – to being formed
– into followers of Christ that the old term "Sunday
School" just doesn't fit the bill. Besides that, it
doesn't happen only on Sunday mornings!
We do offer
Sunday opportunities for adults to pursue that growth in
the knowledge of God, and other opportunities to learn,
grow, share, and pray together as well.

Connections
Ever
wonder “What is a Covenant Church?” “Who is on staff?”
“What ministries are there and who leads them?” These
and other questions create the meaningful discussions
you can find in this ongoing class. "Connections" offers
you a great introduction to Harbor Covenant Church and
to other people also taking some first steps.

Encounters With God
Encounters With
God
Teacher: George Makari
What is it like to come face to face with our sovereign
God of the universe? What does it look, feel, sound, and
maybe smell like? There are several incidents in
Scripture that depict encounters with God. People who
experienced them put the experience into words and the
Holy Spirit preserved them for us. They seem to be
dramatic and have an immediate powerful impact as well
as a lasting effect on those who experienced them. In
this series we will try to enter into these encounters
to let God show us who He is and how He relates to us.
Encounters from the books of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel,
Moses and John will be explored.

(chapters 40-66)

Isaiah prophesies the Messiah’s mission, suffering,
rejection, triumph and ultimate glorious reign from
Jerusalem. God extends comfort & assurances to those who
believe, repent and rely on the Lord. He accomplishes
what He promises, from the release of His people from
Babylonian captivity to the coming of the Servant who
will redeem those from all nations who turn to Him for
salvation. To these He promises hope, strength, joy and
peace.

Serving Together
Serving Together
Teacher: Blake Merwin
If you want to be part of a community that is learning
how to live a life of service towards others, then
Serving Together might just be the class for you! This
Fall we will read and discuss Rich Stearn's "A Hole in
Our Gospel,” pray for each other, and get out and serve
on a regular basis. For those that participated in
Compassion Sunday and want to learn more about serving
others, this class is a great next step.
