The work of the Congregational Life Ministry is an ongoing effort to build up the Body of Christ at Harbor Covenant in an atmosphere of unconditional love and empathy that will "woo" the seeker and bless the believer.

We want to resist complacency, to encourage hospitality, and to inspire the sacrificial giving of one's time to others. This is carried out in a lot of endeavors, large and small, from sending cards and flowers to the ill, caring for the seniors in our congregations, and assimilating newcomers, to planning and putting on congregation-wide picnics and events.

We want Harbor Covenant to become more and more a people who put relationships above appearances and invite others into our homes with open arms and hearts -- people who can just get out a package of cookies and throw on coffee to brew (without fretting about the kitchen being a mess!) and not have to have everything perfect before we'll invite somebody over.
