Comfort Quilts
Approximately 20 HCC women are dedicated to creating "Comfort Quilts" to be given to HCC people in serious crisis (i.e. death of spouse, very serious illness). After the quilt is created, they pray over it before presentation. Beginning September 14 this group plan to meet on the second Tuesday of each month, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in Room 101. Compassion Sunday
August 22, over half of our Harbor Covenant people came together to go outside of our church walls and serve. Instead of our regular morning worship, we participated in service opportunities all over Pierce County, then gathered at 5:00 p.m. to share our stories, worship God, and celebrate with a barbecue following the service. It was an opportunity to show Gig Harbor how real the love of Christ is!
