Leadership Team Update – April 4, 2012
Your Leadership Team has been working on identifying ministry teams and proposed goals for each team. Some ministry teams may look the same as past commissions, while others are completely new. Each leader has been in prayer for three specific ministry team areas and possible leaders. They will come together again on April 17 to share their ideas and then discern together the goals for each group. Your Leadership Team members are: Dick Day, Lynda DeFronzo, Mike Hagen, Carolyn Holdych, Rik Jamieson, Glenn Jordan, Bill Lemke, Barbara Plank, Sajan Thomas, Michael White, Jay Wiley.
Leadership Team Update – February 9, 2012
The Leadership Team and staff are headed to Cascades Camp February 10-11 for a time of prayer and visioning together. We ask for your prayers for team building and for the ability to see God’s direction and to hear God’s voice clearly as we seek what’s best for His kingdom work here in Gig Harbor. As we hear general direction from God we will begin the process of forming ministry teams.

The leadership team had its orientation meeting Monday evening, January 23.
At that meeting they adopted the following timeline for our transition:
January
All ministries continue “as is”
Existing commissions become ministry teams for 3-4 months
Leadership team organizes itself
Looks, listen and along with staff begins process of discerning future direction
February
LT and staff meet at Cascades camp for leadership retreat February 10/11
March
Through process of prayer and discernment leadership team and staff team evaluate which ministry teams are needed to accomplish what we believe God is calling us to do
April – May
Begin implementation of new ministry teams and desired outcomes
June
Celebrate what God has done in the past
July
New Beginning - Everything up and running.
