WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Let’s Spend “Tuesdays Together” Beginning Tuesday, September 9, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. women will gather in room 209 for a time of welcome, food, fellowship, prayer and to focus on "Developing a Heart for God". Contact Liz Cooper or Cindy Teitzel for more information.
Sometimes Retreat Is A Good Thing On October 10 and 11, women have the opportunity to retreat... to Portland Oregon for the Women of Faith Conference, “Infinite Grace”, at the Rose Garden Arena. Reservations have been made at the Red Lion Inn for Friday and Saturday night. Fifty premium seats on the 100 level are available on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Expect lots of time for bonding during this weekend together and to be inspired by incredible “Women of Faith”. As a quote from their brochure says, “Here’s the thing about God’s grace: We can’t earn it. We don’t deserve it. But it’s OURS because God freely offers it to us. He lavishes us with grace….Join us and learn why you can stop trying so hard. Come and see what it can mean to rest in God’s amazing, unequaled, Infinite Grace.”
You may obtain tickets at the end of August and first weekend of September. Write “Infinite Grace” on your calendar for October 11 and 12! Plan to take advantage of this exciting opportunity. More information regarding price and other details to follow.
For Women on the “Homestretch” While the Homestretch women will not meet in August, we are busy making exciting plans for the fall. We begin, on September 8, by “doing lunch”, which is a very good way to start! Details about our new program will be announced soon so watch for information in the bulletin and in the September newsletter. We look forward to welcoming all women 55 and over; however, if you have not yet reached that age pinnacle, please know that we never “card” anyone and you would be very welcome.
