YOUTH MINISTRIES What Have Those Kids Been Up To? Our middle and high school students have been busy throughout the summer with projects, mission trips, barbecues and just hangin’ out. Hear all about their adventures at the annual Summer Dessert taking place at Harbor Covenant on September 3 at 7:00 p.m. In addition, catch the enthusiasm as they talk about the activities planned for coming months. Everyone is invited to what promises to be a really exciting and inspirational evening. Be sure to write “Dessert 7:00 p.m.” in the September 3 slot on your calendar!
Networking Takes On A New Meaning Youth pastors from five area churches have been meeting to plan a collaborative effort to bring the young people of this area together. Their vision is a partnering in service and in reaching out to the Gig Harbor community. The organizations involved include Harbor Covenant, Believers Fellowship, Chapel Hill Presbyterian, Harbor Christian Center, and Young Life. Throughout the year, this network will sponsor service and outreach opportunities two or three times a quarter. Watch for more news as plans are developed by this exciting new ministry. A "kick-off" is planned for September 7.
