We're
called to grow in the knowledge of God, living a life worthy of the Lord so that we please him in every way.
(Col. 1:10) There's so much to growing – to being formed
– into followers of Christ that the old term "Sunday
School" just doesn't fit the bill. Besides that, it
doesn't happen only on Sunday mornings!
We do offer
Sunday opportunities for adults to pursue that growth in
the knowledge of God, and other opportunities to learn,
grow, share, and pray together as well.

Serving Together
Serving Together
“Over and
over, when I ask God why all these injustices are
allowed to exist in the world, I can feel the Spirit
whisper to me, ‘you tell me why we allow this to happen.
You are my body, my hands, my feet.” (taken from The
Irresistible Revolution).
But what does
it look like to be the body, hands and feet of God in
our world? This class intends to be an experience. Each
week we will examine practical ways to emphasize
Christ’s priority of evangelism in our homes,
neighborhoods, nation and world. This class is designed
for couples, small groups, families, students, retirees,
and for people of all ages who want to stretch out their
hearts and hands and experience Activity Driven
Discipleship.<return>

Blessed are the
Peacemakers
Blessed are the Peacemakers
Wonder Years
God’s plan is
for God’s church to be the Bride of Christ, modeling
Christ’s love for us to the unbelieving world. However,
often the Church’s witness to our Lord and Savior’s love
is compromised by how we handle the inevitable
differences and conflicts that arise within the body.
This class will explore God’s model for handling
conflict, give you practical tools to resolve conflict
in your personal, marital or work life and provide you
with a sound scriptural basis for glorifying God in all
situations. Through lively discussions, case studies,
role playing, and videos, your mental model around
conflict will be challenged and transformed…and so will
your relationships.<return>

Alpha Express

Open Circle
Ever wonder
what is the meaning of life? What happens when we die?
What relevance Jesus has for daily living? or How to
deal with guilt? If you would like to explore questions
like these, or simply brush up on the basics of the
Christian faith, then Alpha Express is for you. This
class will combine learning and laughter, large and
small group discussions, exciting video clips and all
sorts of questions as together we explore more about the
Christian faith. Listen to what one attendee said:
“Alpha is wonderful – life changing! Alpha answered and
clarified the basics for me and put me on a firm ground
to travel forward on my journey with God.<return>

Prime Time
This class
follows theologian and author N.T. Wright's book by the
same title in a Biblical exploration of Jesus as prophet
and Jesus' teaching on the kingdom of God. What did
Jesus say about all of this and what does it all mean
for living today?.<return>

Home Visitation, Respite Care & Grief Counseling
This class
will train people for service in 3 senior care
ministries of the church. It is designed to equip people
for visiting elderly shut-ins, seniors who have special
needs, and seniors undergoing long-term recovery from
surgery and other medical procedures. It will also train
volunteers for respite care, a ministry in which
volunteers sit with house bound seniors who need
constant companionship in order to allow the regular
caregiver release time. The class will train volunteers
in providing grief counseling to those grieving the loss
of loved ones.<return>
