Wednesday
nights
Fuel – our Wednesday
night youth group – runs from 5:43 to 7:30pm. Our
monthly calendars, released every two months, and the
Fuel blog site will alert you to what is happening each
Wednesday. Youth group generally includes outrageous
games, scripture lessons, topics that pertain to what’s
really going on in your life, and times of deep
conversation in small groups. The last Wednesday of
every month is a special night called “Last Wednesday”
(I know, I know; we really went out on a limb with that
title). “Last Wednesday” is a worship service designed
to allow students, parents and others who don’t normally
attend youth group to worship and learn together. It is
also a powerful evangelism opportunity. So check out our
calendar to find out what’s happening this week and we
hope to see you there!
Sunday A.M.
Everyone likes
choice. No one wants to be told what to be interested
in. We understand.
Our 9:59 program
(a.k.a. “Sunday School”) is based on that very
principle. Each month we offer three different classes
for students to choose from. Topics range from
characters from the Bible, a book or an issue of the
faith. The classes are usually taught by the Youth
Pastor, Middle School Director, Interns or members of
the Student Ministries Staff. Don’t miss this
opportunity to develop a deeper faith and understanding,
meet us in the church sanctuary at 9:59 next Sunday!
Other events
In addition to
Wednesday nights and Sunday A.M., there are a number of
other ways to get involved: weekend retreats, winter
camp, Up Country (back-packing), Confirmation, mission
trips, small groups, and more. Check the calendar for
more details.

IGNITE HIGH
SCHOOL MINISTRIES
IGNITE HIGH SCHOOL
MINISTRIES
Grades 9-12
Ignite
Student Ministries
is a ministry of Harbor Covenant Church aimed at
aligning high school students with the revolutionary
movement of Jesus and his teachings. We believe that
Love always wins and so through our sacrificial love we
are redeeming the entire world.
Make sure to checkout
our blog: http://www.321ignite.com
Wednesday nights
Ignite meets from
7:30 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Our nights are
comprised of a variety of components including worship,
teaching, activities, videos, small groups, and more.
The topics are relevant for students and focus on how to
follow Jesus in the real world. Wednesday nights have a
welcoming atmosphere and are great to bring friends to!
Tetris
Tetris meets on
Sunday nights and is a call to radical discipleship.
When Jesus said to live a certain way we actually
believe he meant it. Tetris is our attempt to live like
Jesus and do what he said to do. Tetris is about using
our own uniqueness, passions, and giftedness that God
has given us to serve others as we work to redeem our
world. If you have a desire to follow Jesus and serve
others then Tetris might be for you! Talk to Blake to
see if Tetris would be a good fit for you.
Sunday A.M.
Sunday mornings are
our opportunity to dig deeper into the Scriptures and
learn about how we fit into God's Kingdom and his plan
for the redemption of this world. We meet at 9:45am
during the Christian Formation Hour on Sundays. Come
join us!
Other
events
In addition to
Wednesday Nights, Sunday School, and Tetris, there are a
number of ways to get involved. Some of our additional
events include: Summer camp at the Cape in British
Columbia, Beach Freeze Winter Retreat, Confirmation,
Project Serve, Mission Trips, Service Projects, and
other fun events such as Bogus Ball. Check out the
calendar or blog to find out what's happening this
month.
