"Ignite" High School Ministries (Grades 9-12)
Our students are NOT the future of the church…They are already a HUGE part of what God is doing in and through the church. HCC High School Ministry (Ignite) is designed to help students experience the fullness of the revolutionary movement of Jesus and his teachings.
Sunday A.M. - 9.59 a.m
Sunday mornings are our opportunity to dig deeper into the Scriptures and learn about how we fit into God's Kingdom and his plan for the redemption of this world. Come join us!
Wednesday Nights - 7:00 - 9:00 p.m
Our Wednesday evening rotation provides an opportunity to have fun, wrestle with issues teens face, get into God’s word, spend intentional time in worship, share, and hear each others' stories. The first and third Wednesday will include one of the following.

"D" (Discipline)

MAD (Make A Difference)
Includes game(s), student/staff stories, and one of Mike’s infamous “Nature Talks” (includes talk and small group discussions).
Includes game(s), student/staff stories, a description and discussion on a specific discipline (ex. fasting, prayer, etc.) AND a “D” challenge where students will have the opportunity to practice a specific discipline over the next 7 days (all materials
needed will be provided that night).
Includes game(s), student/staff stories, and discussion surrounding how we are called to make a difference in our world and a practical opportunity to make a difference the Friday or Saturday following MAD night.The 2nd Wednesday is usually a crazy night with Lip Synch, Welcome Movie, and Bogus Ball—just some of the strangely weird stuff we do!!! The 4th Wednesday is a time set aside for Praise and Worship.
Camps, Retreats, and other Ministries
Summer Camp is a Gig Harbor wide event as we partner with two other local churches to pull the students of our community together. Summer Camp 2010 is planned for the beginning of August.
Beach Freeze (our annual winter retreat) takes place January 15-18 Our annual mission trip will be to Panama in late June Confirmation (grades 8-9)
