Worship Schedule
Classic Worship @ 8:30 a.m.
Contemporary Worship @ 11:00 a.m.
Childcare provided at both services. First day of Christian Formation classes is Sunday, September 11, at 9:50 a.m.

Why do we have two distinct worship services?
Over the last year and a half we have been praying and seeking God's direction for where he wants to lead us in worship. We have experimented with different styles and leaders. We have tried a worship pilot program. We have engaged members of the congregation in discussion and the elders held listening sessions.

We've been strongly motivated by:
-- A desire to be driven by our mission.
-- A commitment to reaching people for Jesus.
-- A passion for creating followers of Jesus who are 100% committed to him.
-- A recognition that we need to help as many people as possible make a connection with God in worship.

We believe we can do this more effectively if we have two distinct worship experiences.

Our 8:30 service features the musicians, format and feel which we have enjoyed. In addition, there is:
-- More frequent special music.
-- Choir singing on a regular basis.

The 11:00 service is more "contemporary".
-- More informal.
-- Louder music.
-- More interaction.
-- Newer choruses.
-- Weekly communion.

Kids

Kids are welcome in our worship services. There is also a nursery available for kids from birth-3 years old. During the worship service there is usually a special time for kids such as a children's sermon or prayer. Afterward the kids can go to Children's Church (Kidz Connection) or during the first service they can participate in the children's choir. In addition, they may remain with their parents! During our formation hour between the worship services, there are Sunday School classes for kids upstairs in the Education Building. Click Here for more information about our ministry to children.

Students

Classes for middle school and high school students are available during the formation hour between the services. Classes meet in the Education Building on the first floor. Click Here for more information about our student ministries.

Adults

Adult Christian Formation Classes meet at 9:50 a.m. On Sunday mornings, we not only worship

together but we also learn to be more like Jesus together. Click Here for more information about our adult ministries.
